See: brief.pdf23 Sep 2024, Qt6 version now with support for HTML pages with Blink
Under "Download the Qt6 sourcecode package" you can find the according tar.gz archive that includes the binaries of pvbrowser for OpenSUSE Leap 15.5. With this you can test if the port from Qt5 to Qt6 is working properly. Other Linux versions are not tested currently. Also Windows and Android versions of pvbrowser6 are currently missing. If you want to build by your own, you must first install the Qt6 development package inclusive qmake, cmake, and C++ compiler. Then you can build with the following commands:tar -zxf pvb6.tar.gz cd pvb6 ./rlbuild-all.shThe binary of pvbrowser6 should be stored under the following path:
pvb6/pvbrowser/cmake-builddir-with-www/pvbrowser6The pvbrowser binary can be started with the command ./pvbrowser6 from it´s directory. Besides pvbrowser6 the other components of pvbrowser are also build with ./rlbuild-all.sh . rlbuild-all.sh consists of some shell scripts with which you can build the components step by step. The binaries can be cleaned with ./clean.sh .
The following binaries are related to Qt6:
qwt/libqwt.a (is used by pvbrowser and pvdevelop) pvbrowser/cmake-builddir-without-www/pvbrowser6 (can be created optionally) pvbrowser/cmake-builddir-with-www/pvbrowser6 pvdevelop/pvdevelop-with-qwt62 pvdevelop/pvdevelop.sh (should link to the desired pvdevelop)

There is a new lib useable with json formated files. And thanks to Mr. Gonçalves we could fix problems with the new version of QWT widgets. QWT is a widget lib for qt which we use within pvbrowser. From time to time we take snapshots from the original QWT lib from the autors: Rathmann, Wilgen.14 aug 2023 New template for connecting fritzbox routers
See: pvbaddon.tar.gz pvbaddon/templates/fritzbox02 aug 2023 Memories of the basics
The basic ideas of pvbrowser derive from the last century .With Occan and Transputers http://www.transputer.net.
In fact pvbrowser and pvserver ... build a CSP (communicating sequential processes). Take a home automation system as an example: You may talk with your router, your heating-system, your solar-inverter, some ip-cameras ..., where all of this are part of a CSP. The communication may run over classic fieldbus systems, over rest interface or more generally speaking over TCP/IP. Some routers allow you to reach a lot of IoT devices over wireless connections. The heating system also provides sensors and allows to receive setpoints as output.
